The SD Powerhouse Water Pump Outlet Brace is made to prevent the outlet piece from slipping due to high temperatures and pressure. This simple to install brace reinforces that outlet to stop this issue from happening.
For example, the Honda HRC racing team has a completely different water pump on all 450 R/RX bikes to ensure this is not an issue for their racers.
